Petronas Twin Towers

The Petronas Twin Towers is an iconic landmark that merits a visit (and photo opportunity) for any first-time visitor to Kuala Lumpur. Built in 1998, the sleek structure stands at 88 storeys high and joined by a double-decker Sky Bridge that offers an exhilarating view of KL city centre and beyond.

Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is located in Petaling Jaya. About 15km southwest of the Kuala Lumpur city centre. With a variety of watery rides on offer and plenty of dry-land activities too, there are few more fun ways to spend a day than cooling down at Sunway.Built on the site of a former tin mine and quarry, when it first opened the highlights of this multi-zone theme park were its water slides and the world’s largest manmade surf beach. These days, it has expanded and encompasses a total of five different zones which are the Water Park, Scream Park, Amusement Park, Extreme Park and Wildlife Park.

Aquaria KLCC

Aquaria KLCC located on the concourse level of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the 5000sqft. Aquaria KLCC is said to be largest aquarium in the world. Home to over 150 species of marine life, its star attractions include scary tiger sharks, lethal sea snakes, blue rays, bright coral fish, seahorses and more.

Central Market

Central Market is one of KL’s most familiar landmarks and a popular tourist attraction. Built in 1928, it is a short walk away from Petaling Street, along Jalan Hang Kasturi. Also called Pasar Seni, it used to be a simple wet market but in the early 1980s was revamped into a handicrafts outlet.

Zoo Negara

Zoo Negara (National Zoo) was officially opened by the country's first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman on 14 November, 1963. At the time, entrance rate was 50 cents for adults and 20 cents for children. Among the attractions at the zoo include Akuarium Negara opened in 1972 and in 1984 renamed Akuarium Tunku Abdul Rahman, Bird house, Reptile House, Ape Centre, Savannah Walk, and Mammal Kingdom. There is also Zoo Negara by night. Catch a glimpse of many animals who are at their most active at night. There are more than 5137 animals from 459 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.
